Week of April 20
We had a busy and exciting week in our classroom! Students worked hard across all subject areas, and we spent time preparing for our Spring Concert . After lots of practice, students did an amazing job and truly shined during their performance on Thursday evening. We are so proud of them! Phonics Students focused on the /er/ sound found in words such as her , term , and winter . We practiced reading and spelling words with this pattern through daily phonics routines and activities. Students are continuing to build confidence in recognizing and using these sound patterns in both reading and writing. Writing Our class learned about Earth Day and discussed ways we can all help keep our planet healthy. They wrote about how they can do their part, sharing thoughtful ideas such as recycling, reducing waste, and taking care of the environment.
